Title: How does Aguas Andinas plan to achieve its goal of increasing gender diversity in hiring, front-line management and leadership teams?

The certainty that diverse team works are more creative, committed, empathetic and able to meet the multiple needs of customers, drives a corporate effort to integrate people with different outlooks and life experiences. The intention is for the company to be a reflection of an increasingly multicultural society at all levels of its organizational structure.

For the above, Aguas Andinas applies a Diversity and Inclusion Policy with four pillars:

  • Gender equity
  • Cultural diversity
  • Inclusion of people with disabilities
  • Sexual diversity

    It also has a Diversity and Equality Committee, responsible for developing these lines of work, which are set out in an annual plan.

    Each year, a personnel evaluation process is deployed with objective and effective criteria, designed to determine the career potential of each person, as well as the necessary measures to reinforce aspects that can be improved. This evaluation covers four areas:

  • Ganas de aprender / Eager to learn
  • Thinking beyond borders /
  • Madurez personal y resiliencia / Personal maturity and resilience
  • Comprensión de los demás / Understanding others

For those professionals with outstanding performance, career plans are defined with different actions aimed at developing their leadership and growth skills.

All workers with high potential are evaluated through the assessment centers system, a method that, through psychometric tests and in-depth interviews, provides feedback to each person and allows them to know their aptitudes before a possible promotion and positions of greater responsibility.
