Title: How are you coping with extreme drought (climate change)?

To address the effects of the prolonged drought, which has lasted more than 14 years, Aguas Andinas is implementing strategies and technologies that guarantee the continuity of services and minimize environmental impact. This includes optimizing water treatment and distribution processes to reduce energy and water consumption, as well as responsible waste management.

The Company has been developing an investment plan to ensure the security of supply standards committed for Greater Santiago under climate change conditions, which includes the AVANZA project (you can review this project in the Investor Day 2022 replay https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BptP0gRKRwE), new boreholes in wells, reinforcements in the drinking water supply system, and the expansion of Drinking Water Treatment Plants.

In addition, the Hydraulic Efficiency Plan is being implemented to reduce drinking water losses in the network and the new Operational Control Center for constant monitoring of the networks.
