Aguas Andinas' vision of climate change is clear and decisive, where we recognize the importance of preserving and protecting water resources in a context of global climate crisis. Our commitment is to lead the sanitation industry in Chile towards sustainable and environmentally friendly practices.
We are also committed to adapting to the challenges of climate change. In the Metropolitan Region, the most evident effects of the climate crisis are associated with a drought that has lasted more than a decade and the increase in heavy summer rains in the mountainous zone, which, due to the dragging of materials, cause high turbidity events in the Maipo and Mapocho rivers, affecting the purification of raw water. We work closely with the authorities and the local community to develop solutions that ensure a reliable and sustainable water supply in an uncertain future.
The company seeks to lead through efficient and optimized investment management, which allows the entry of a service of excellence through a responsible investment plan that promotes green and social financing, positively impacting all the company's stakeholders.
